She used to feel shy and awkward whenever a boy asked her out.

She doesn't drink.

She won't go out with a boy if he drinks too much, curses, or gets too fresh.

She is seldom on time.

She used to talk a blue streak on a date--until a boy finally said, "Shut up, Sandy!"

She doesn't feel she has to repay a boy for a date with a good-night kiss. She reserves her kisses for someone she really likes a lot.

She doesn't mind kissing a boy on a first date, however.

She doesn't talk about politics or religion on a date, but she'll argue about almost anything else.

She isn't conceited.

She'd never kissed a boy before she kissed John Saxon in front of the cameras.

She eats no lunch, very little breakfast and a small dinner.

She loves steak, asparagus, and peanut butter.

She worries about her figure to the point of hysteria.

She's wide awake when she reports for work at six in the morning.

She needs nine hours' sleep a night.

She's a terrific gin rummy player.

She lets her dressing room stay in a constant mess.

She'd want to keep working if she were married.

She'd let her husband be the absolute boss of the family.

She hates to keep house.

She likes to cook things of her own choosing, but doesn't like to clean up afterwards.

She loves children.

She used to baby-sit with her nephew Sergei, and still offers her services to friends and neighbors.

She can't live according to a budget.

She buys things on the spur of the moment.

She now drives a T-bird but will soon have a silver Chrysler Imperial to call her own.

She likes Edd Byrnes, Troy Donahue, Ricky Nelson, and Mark Damon, but isn't and never has been in love with any of them.

She did her written schoolwork while under the hair dryer. She no longer goes to school.

She disliked mathematics and history the most.

She can manage several things at once--learning lines, eating dinner and playing gin.

She had her first movie role with Jean Simmons in "Until They Sail."

She considers time her most precious commodity, and takes a sandwich to the movies so she doesn't waste time eating dinner.

She doesn't like a boy to leave it up to her what they do on a date.

She doesn't care to go to expensive restaurants.

She writes personal thank-you notes for all gifts given to her.

She is one of the most generous girls in show business.

Her mother never interferes with her dates.

She has to like a boy a lot before she'll hold hands with him.

She loves a good argument.

She's never gone steaay, but is sure she'd like it.

She was once almost swept out to sea at Jones Beach.

She wore her first nylons when she was 14.

She got her first formal when she was 14.

She occasionally double-dates with her mother.

She had her first crush when she was nine, and the boy chased her all over Central Park!

She started in TV as Vaughn Monroe's daughter on the Vaughn Monroe show.

She can concentrate with ease, and can ignore distractions.

She thinks Beverly Hills is the greatest place to live.

She went to private schools most of her life--except two years in public school on Long Island.

She is fond of her fans and enjoys signing autographs.

She takes her own dietetic lunch to the studios, when she eats lunch.

She has a wonderful sense of humor.

She eats at home before she goes to parties, to be sure she has the right number of calories.

She is five feet four inches tall.

She is afraid of flying but tries not to show it.

She was almost involved in an airplane collision.

She had her first "real" date when she was 17.

She wears a size five dress.

She has most of her clothes especially made for her.

She frequently has a "crush" on some boy.

She now has a big crush on a wealthy young industrialist but won't reveal his name.

She never gets lonely.

She loses her temper, but her outbursts don't last very long.

She sleeps in pajamas.

She has a king-size bed.

She loves purple.

She doesn't have an allowance, but gets what she wants from her mother or business manager.

She likes her sweaters loose--and wears a large 34 or small 36.

She started driving when she was 16. On her first attempt she bumped into a sound stage.

She has received only one traffic ticket.

She is still a member of St. Peter's and Paul's Orthodox Church of Bayonne, N.J.

She is learning Italian.

She doesn't remember ever being spanked, but supposes she was.

She wouldn't go near the water for years until she finally had to for her part in "Gidget."

She used to have a terrible fear of heights.

She has never been afraid of strangers, which used to worry her mother.

For years she wouldn't go near a bull or a cow--because she was once chased by a bull.

She used to be terribly afraid of mice.

She can't go to sleep unless there is a light on near her room.

She hates to drive on the freeways.

She weighs 99 pounds.

She likes to devise fancy desserts--but never eats them.

She enjoys ice skating.

She likes white antique furniture, and blues, orchids and silver.

She was a member of the Girl Scouts, and used to model at their fashion shows.

She won't go out at night if she has to work the next day.

She won't open an umbrella in her dressing room. Once she sprained an ankle after she had done so and then had left the umbrella lying on the floor.

She has eaten grasshoppers and ants--but she didn't know what they were until later.

She loves to eat snails.

She hates spinach.

She doesn't like to be asked for a date 'way in advance, because she'll worry about what to wear.

She's always wanted to pick an orange, but never has.

She expects her dates to have her home by midnight most of the time.

She had a close call once on the Hollywood Freeway when the brakes of her car locked. She was thrown against the windshield but was not hurt.

She doesn't like timid boys. But she won't go out a second time with a fellow who gets too aggressive.

She wants a husband who is "passably good-looking" and "madly in love" with her.

She talks things over with her mother before making big decisiom.

She likes to make recordings.

She is used to having plenty of money to spend.

She has a beautiful home in Beverly Hills which was almost burned down by a fire and almost washed away by a flood.
